Our price for the first appliance is £92. We charge £66 for each additional appliance but a gas hob is £36. If a Landlord’s Gas Safety Record certificate is required there is no additional charge.
If your neighbour wants a boiler service too we’ll give each of you a £10 discount if you arrange to have them done together. Just let us know when you ring to make the bookings.
We deal with lots of boilers and some of them are very old (over 40 years old!) and still working safely. We’ll never try to bounce you into changing your boiler but if you need a quote for a replacement we’ll be happy to come to see you, talk through what you need, and give you a written quotation.
Our installation page tells you more about how we work. Lovekin also service gas fires and warm air heaters and we install radiators, heating controls (programmers, thermostats, motorised valves and circulating pumps) and full central heating systems.
When we are installing, our first choice of manufacturer is Worcester Bosch because their boilers are first class, as is their backup for installers and for our customers. We are Worcester Accredited Installers and can extend the warranty on their Greenstar gas boiler range to 7 years (8 years if a Worcester system filter is fitted).

We’re sorry but we work with natural gas appliances (mains gas) only; we do not work with LPG.

We have a separate, growing web site recording information about central heating problems and fault-finding of gas boilers and central heating controls. You can find it at lovekin.net. It includes information on radiator valves and balancing radiators. The site is still quite basic and we will continue to add to it and improve it but there’s quite a lot of useful information there already, including articles about central heating system pressure, high efficiency boilers, gross and net efficiency and condensate drain problems.
Central heating and gas boiler terminology can be confusing and the meaning of some of the terms used has changed over time. We’ve tried to define some of the terms on a terminology page on this site.
