When we carry out a gas boiler service it’s much more than a cursory check with a flue gas analyser. With each gas boiler service we check the location of the boiler, the provision of air for combustion and cooling and the condition and operation of the boiler flue
We partially strip the boiler and check and clean the combustion chamber, burner and injectors unless the manufacturers specify otherwise. When we re-assemble the boiler after service we will check the condition of the combustion casing seals
Wherever possible we will carry out combustion analysis with each gas boiler service and, if you're interested, we'll be happy to explain the significance of the figures
